    • This link takes you to the official Atkins website, where you can: learn about the Atkins plan, read articles and information on low carb, set up a free account and monitor your progress and log your food and exercise, and purchase Atkins products, services, and supplements.
       
  • Active Low Carber Forum
    • This link takes you to the Active Low-Carber Forums.  These forums have lots of members to provide support and ideas for your low carb lifestyle. 
       
  • Atkins by the Book
    • This link takes you to the Atkins by the Book site, where you can read success stories, visit their forum and chat sections, and browse through the low carb recipes.
       
  • CalorieKing.com
    • This link takes you to a comprehensive website, where you can look up the nutrition information for foods, search their recipes, keep a diet diary, shop, and more.
       
  • Linda's Low Carb Menu's & Recipes
    • This link takes you to a very well organized site, with sections for tips, articles, and a low carb shopping list. The recipes are divided into categories by meal category (appetizer, dessert, etc).  Recipes suitable for the "induction" phase of Atkins are noted with an asterisk *.

    • This link takes you to the Low Carb Advisor site, where you can get advice, as well as purchase low carb products, and find recipes from experienced (Atkins) low carbers.

    • This link takes you to a lively website, where you can find free recipes, chat with other low carbers, and check out product reviews.
       
  • Low Carb Transformation forum
    • This is a fantastic forum where you can find everything from Avocado smoothie recipes to why you might want to try taking Zinc.  The forum is active, the members are friendly (and funny), and the recipes are terrific!

    • This link takes you to the Netrition site. They sell a huge variety of low carb (and other) foods and products, have great prices and service, and good shipping policies and rates.
       
  • Nutridiary
    • The Nutridiary site allows you to journal your food and exercise for the day, and see how well you're doing.  You can enter your meals for the day, and create custom foods, to personalize this free service.
       
  • TrulyLowCarb.com
    • This popular site has much to offer the low carber-- support, advice, humor recipes, live chats, and even e-cards! It's easy to navigate, and a great resource.
       
  • USDA Food Database
    • This link takes you to the search page for the USDA Food Nutrient database.  Simply enter the keyword (the name of the food) or an ingredient, or search through the food groups, and you will find all the data available for calories, carbs, fat, and essential vitamins and minerals, for a given quantity of the food.
