These are sites where you
can log your daily food intake, figure out the nutritional breakdown of
your food, log your exercise, and keep track of other information, and
learn more about your personal fitness needs.
Note that most of these
services are free, though some websites might offer extra services for a
membership fee.
- atkinscenter.com
- This link takes you to the official
Atkins website, where you can register (for free) for a
My Atkins page, and you can do your journaling there.
There are many features in this site, including the
journal, vitamin log, graph of your progress, before and
after pictures, recipe box, etc.
-
Fitday.com
- Fitday allows you to journal your
food and exercise, enter custom foods to use over again,
and report on your daily and monthly trends with respect
to calories, carbs, protein, fat intake, as well as
exercise.
-
Fitness Journal
- The fitness journal is a service you
pay for, where you can keep detailed information about
your exercise, food intake, and exercise. This
site seems keyed for performance atheletes, though
anyone can use the service.
-
Journal to Success
- This site allows you to journal your
food, activity, and weight, for free The journals use
a pValueFlex system, essentially allowing you to allocate a
number of "values" per day and "flexvalues" as well.
- Just
Walk
- This site allows you, for a trial
period of 14 days for free (and then a yearly membership
fee), to use their journaling, fitness tracking, and
other features. This site is geared especially toward
walking enthusiasts and clubs of walkers, though they do
account for a variety of activities (such as aerobics
and swimming).
- My

NutraWatch
- This site offers two levels of
service: for free, you can use the basic membership

weight loss, see nutritional reports, and enter a
limited number of custom foods. For the $14.95
yearly membership, you can track your exercise as well,
receive reports based on your exercise, and enter
unlimited custom foods and recipes.
-
FitWatch
- This site is very similar to Fitday,
though the exact functioning of some of the features is
different. In addition to the basic, free
membership, you can register for a paid membership,
which opens more features to you, and removes ads from
your view. The price for the paid membership however is
in Canadian Dollars, which means a savings to American
patrons.
-
Weight Loss Resources
- This British site has links to
various calorie counters, weight loss and diet
information, and online journals for weight loss, food,
